Fermented only dosa produces smell why

Explanation:


Fermentation is the process of conversion of carbohydrates to acid, alcohol and gas.

The sugar is converted into ethanol this is done in the presence of microorganism like yeast. This results in formation of desired stuff.

For preparation of idli, or dosa the fermentation of rice is converted into ethanol along with release of carbon dioxide gas which gives it a puffy appearance.

Yeast is the microorganism which is used for preparation of dosa it is absorbed by other ingredients like urad dal and fenugreek.
