Wheat Dosai
Ingredients:
How to make:
In the vessal add wheat folur, salt and water.
Mix the flour gently, the batter until the consistency is thin and pour-able.
In pan heat the oil then add mustard seeds, when the mustard seeds crackle, add urad dal and fry until it turns golden brown.
Then add the red chillies and curry leaves and remove from fire.
Add into the wheat dosai batter and then add the minced shallots. Mix well.
Heat a dosai tawa and grease with oil.
Start pouring the batter from the outside and keep pouring batter into a circle until it's filled. Don't pour batter over and over.
Drizzle oil around the Dosai and keep the flame on medium.
Cook the dosa until the edges start to rise a bit.
Pour a few drops of sesame oil over the dosa and gently flip it over.
The first side should be golden brown at this stage.
Now your Wheate Dosai is Ready. You can Serve it hot.

- Water - 5-6 cups
- salt - 1 tea spoon (or to taste)
- Oil - 2 Table Spoon
- Mustard Seed - ¼ tea spoon
- Urad dal - ½ tea spoon
- Red Dry Chillies - 2 to 3 (Cut into small pieces)
- Curry Leaf - 1 string (Torn into small pieces
- Small Onion (Shallot) - 3 to 4 (Minced)
