How to make Pineapple Rasam

Ingredients of Pineapple Rasam
- 200 gm tomato
- 10 gm coriander leaves
- salt as required
- 5 gm asafoetida
- 500 ml pineapple juice
- 5 gm crushed to paste green chilli
- 10 gm coriander powder
- 100 ml water
- For Tempering
- 5 gm red chilli
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoon refined oil
- 4 curry leaves
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
How to make Pineapple Rasam
Step 1
- To prepare this main dish recipe, add the tomatoes and coriander leaves in a blender jar and blend to mash them.
- Now, place a pan over medium flame and add green chilli paste, hing, coriander powder in it.
- Saute the ingredients until fragrant.
- Add the mashed tomato, coriander leaves, water and pineapple juice to the pan.
- Cook it for 10 minutes or until you can smell the aroma.
- Once done, take it off the flame.
- Heat refined oil in a pan over medium flame.
- When the oil is hot enough, add mustard seeds in it.
- Let these crackle and then add garlic, curry leaves and whole red chillies in it.
- Mix them and pour this over the pineapple-tomato curry.
- Transfer the rasam in a bowl and serve it hot to enjoy!
